English-as-a-second-language (ESL) classes are open to any person 18 years of age or older. High school students may take adult education courses by referral from their high school counselor.
There is managed enrollment for our ESL classes. We have 4 nine-week sessions:
Session Dates:
- Session 1: September 8, 2009 – November 12, 2009
- Session 2: November 16, 2009 - February 4, 2010
- Session 3: February 8, 2010 - April 22, 2010
- Session 4: April 26, 2010 – June 24, 2010
Registration for an upcoming session is the last week of the current session and the first week of the new session at the BESST Center Office.
- Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm
- Friday 8am-12pm
Regular attendance is extremely important; therefore, we require students to start their English classes at the beginning of the session and stay for the entire 9 weeks to maximize their learning experience.
Students must have proper ID such as a driver's license, passport, CA ID card, and/or a consular ID card.
